HARBOUR BAR
BOAT FISHING
COMPETITION

Sunday July 18th, 2004.
Checkin: Bray Sea Anglers Clubhouse 9.00am to 10.00am
Competition Times: 10.30am to 3.30pm
Entry Fee: €15.00

We’re encouraging all novices and non-anglers as well as
all the seasoned fisher-gang to join us for a fun competition.

Here’s an idea of what you need and what to expect;
*-- It’s a Cod and Pollock competition with points being allocated to each fish caught.
*-- It’s a catch and return competition to help our fish stocks survive, but that doesn’t
stop you bringing some home for the dinner.
*-- Everyone is expected to wear a life jacket at all times as it’s now law, please inform a
club member if you haven’t got a jacket and we will try to provide you with one.
*-- Bring a boat rod and reel, 20 or 40 ragworm and/or lugworm. You’ll also need some
warm dry clothes in case of wind or rain.
*-- Ask at the local tackle store for some cod or pollock rigs, a simple 3-hook (maximum
allowed) red or black-feather rig works best. You’ll also need some 5 or 6 ounce
      weights as well.
*-- Never be afraid to ask no matter how silly you think the question is, we’ll be delighted
      to help.
*-- This is an adult-only competition (over 18), unfortunately, no juniors are allowed.
*-- Finally, please register your interest early, we may be short of boats so it will be a
first come, first serve situation. Although we will try our very best to
     accommodate every.

All Names to be given to the following members by Friday 16th of July.
These members will also answer any questions you may have.
Keith Bishop: (086-3856054)
Liam O’Callaghan: (085-7116860)
Mark Shortt: (086-3841053)

There will be two separate sets of prizes one for IFSA angling members and one for
non-IFSA angling members. Prize giving will be in the Harbour Bar on the Sunday Evening.
